From the Women's Liberation Front: more horrific revelations of men in women's prisons
Will any Democrat in office take action?
I just received an email from Hannah Sullivan of the Women’s Liberation Front (WoLF):
Today, I'm reaching out to share the story of a Central California Women's Facility (CCWF) whistleblower who is fed up and disgusted by the human rights violations suffered by the women in the state's custody...
I was stunned to receive a call from a healthcare worker in CCWF this morning. He wanted to talk to WoLF anonymously and didn't even want to disclose the department he works in because he's one of the only male employees.
He's terrified of termination but felt compelled to tell us what he and other staff are witnessing from SB 132 in California, which allows the state to place men in women's prisons. Speaking truth to power can come at a cost.
He went on to describe the shocking treatment of the incarcerated women.
He despaired that over twenty "intact men" were living among the women of CCWF, many of which had been convicted of sex crimes like rape.
He lamented that over 500 men were on the transferee waitlist either seeking relations with incarcerated women or an "easier ride" than the men's prison experience.
He angrily explained that men are brutalizing women with "intent to kill them," yet only faced solitary confinement - argued to be "discrimination" of their purported gender identity.
He grieved for the women who had conceived pregnancies while incarcerated as a result of the mixed-sex prison housing and said that a pregnancy had resulted from a rape.
He heartbrokenly explained that women are retaliated against when filing 602 grievances against the male transferees and face repercussions due to "gender identity discrimination."
He said he reached out to WoLF because we are "the only ones fighting for the women inside" through our lawsuit, Chandler v. CDCR.
Hearteningly, he said that he "has yet to meet anyone working [at CCWF] who agrees with [SB132]," and he felt that he "had to do something [to] help the women."
California Governor Gavin Newsom: what do you say?
California Attorney General Rob Bonta: what do you say?
Will any Democrat in the state legislature speak out?
Democrats are supporting this! Shame on them!!!
if you are a trans woman there are a few things that you need to understand. First of all is that you are still a man because you can't change your biological sex. It's okay to dress any way you wish and to adopt any superficial, stereotypical attributes of women that you desire. Live your life. No one should care, I certainly don't. However, because women are entitled to be treated fairly and to enjoy privacy from men there are certain things that are prohibited to you and me because we are men. You can't compete against women in most sports because it would be unfair. You can't go into women's private places like restrooms and locker rooms because that would make them feel unsafe. Finally, if you are a criminal you certainly can't be imprisoned with women.
That's it, just like me.
